Em disputa com Beyoncé e Bieber, Adele leva Grammy de álbum do ano

A batalha de divas no Grammy 2017 teve sua vitoriosa: Adele. A cantora britânica venceu Beyoncé nas três principais categorias: música do ano, gravação do ano e melhor álbum.

Ao subir no palco duas vezes seguidas para receber os dois principais prêmios, gravação do ano e álbum do ano, a cantora britânica fez questão de destacar Beyoncé em seus dois discursos.

Consagrada com "Hello" e seu álbum "25", Adele agradeceu emocionada e se voltou para Beyoncé, sua maior concorrente nas categorias. "Você toca minha alma todo dia, eu te adoro e quero que você seja a minha mamãe", disse carinhosamente para a amiga americana ao receber o primeiro prêmio, de gravação do ano por "Hello".

Ao voltar para buscar o principal prêmio da noite, álbum do ano, Adele não conseguiu conter a emoção. Com a voz embargada, ela lembrou que estava grávida quando também ganhou álbum do ano em 2012 por "21" e gravação do ano por "Rolling in The Deep", mais uma vez apontado para Beyoncé, que foi ao Grammy deste ano ostentando seu barrigão de gêmeos.

"Meu modelo é a Beyoncé, o álbum 'Lemonade' é tão monumental. O jeito que você faz eu e meus amigos negros nos sentirmos é empoderador. Eu te amo", completou, destacando a importância do trabalho de Beyoncé. Da plateia, Beyoncé recebeu o discurso da amiga com os olhos cheios de lágrimas.

Indicada em cinco categorias neste ano, Adele levou todos os gramofones para casa: álbum do ano, gravação do ano, música do ano, melhor performance solo e melhor álbum vocal pop. Enquanto isso, a recordista de indicações Beyoncé, com nove, ficou com apenas dois prêmios: álbum contemporâneo urbano e melhor videoclipe.
